One-Stage Detector

A family of models that performs fast detection by combining proposal generation and classification in a single forward pass.

One-stage detectors offer important advantages for object detection in applications with strong speed requirements. Rather than separating a proposal stage, they directly produce box and class outputs through dense prediction. This makes them highly valuable for real-time video analytics, drone imaging, and mobile visual systems. The YOLO family is among the best-known examples of this approach.
