Action Recognition
A task focused on recognizing action classes from human or object motion in video.
Action recognition represents the move from single-frame vision to time-aware behavior understanding. The model attempts to understand not only what an object is, but what it is doing. It has strong value in sports analytics, surveillance, workplace safety, patient monitoring, and human-computer interaction. It requires joint modeling of both spatial and temporal signals.
