Image Super-Resolution

A restoration approach focused on generating more detailed high-resolution images from low-resolution inputs.

Super-resolution aims to produce richer detail from images with low pixel density. It has important application value in satellite imagery, archival media, medical scans, and surveillance. However, the boundary between recovering real information and generating synthetic detail must be handled carefully, because better-looking output does not always mean better decision quality.
