Image Deblurring

A restoration task that aims to recover visual information by reducing blur caused by motion, focus error, or camera shake.

Image deblurring is a critical restoration problem, especially in low-quality captures and dynamic scenes. The goal is not only to improve visual appearance but also to recover structural information needed by downstream tasks such as detection, OCR, and segmentation. Modern methods range from classical deconvolution techniques to learning-based restoration networks, and they are highly valuable in mobile imaging, surveillance, and industrial inspection.
