x-vector
A modern speaker recognition approach designed to produce fixed-dimensional embeddings representing speaker identity.
The x-vector approach has been one of the most influential components of the deep-learning-based embedding revolution in speaker recognition. By mapping variable-length speech into a fixed-dimensional representation space, it enables strong performance in verification and identification systems. It has been widely used especially in diarization and speaker verification pipelines.
