Voice Anti-Spoofing

A security task that distinguishes genuine user speech from replay attacks, synthesized voices, or converted speech.

Voice anti-spoofing is indispensable for the security of speaker verification systems. If a system relies only on voice similarity, it becomes vulnerable to replay attacks, voice cloning, or speech conversion attacks. For this reason, additional cues such as acoustic artifacts, liveness signals, and channel behavior are examined. It is one of the most critical defense layers for safe voice biometrics.
