Speaker Verification
A binary decision problem that verifies whether a voice sample belongs to the claimed speaker.
Speaker verification differs from identification by making an open-set biometric decision: does this voice truly belong to the claimed speaker? This makes it highly suitable for mobile banking, call-center security, and access control. Threshold setting, false acceptance, and false rejection rates are core determinants of system reliability.
