Load Window
A boundary structure that defines which time range a load process covers and when it runs.
A load window defines the data scope and scheduling discipline of ETL and ELT processes. It expresses which day, hour, or closing period of data should be processed. Poorly designed load windows can create missing data, overlapping calculations, or repeated loads. For that reason, load-window design is directly tied to both data correctness and operational order.
