Lineage Confidence Score
A quality indicator that expresses the reliability level of automatically or semi-automatically inferred lineage information.
A lineage confidence score is used to evaluate how trustworthy automatically inferred trace relationships are. Some lineage links can be detected directly and explicitly, while others may be inferred from partial metadata or indirect logic. For that reason, not all lineage information carries the same certainty. A confidence score helps users understand which relationships are highly reliable and reduces the risk of poor decisions.
