Lineage Completeness

A quality dimension describing how fully lineage information covers all critical steps and dependencies in the data flow.

Lineage completeness is used to assess how comprehensive a traceability system really is. In some platforms only major tables are visible, while intermediate computations, temporary layers, or external services remain hidden. These gaps weaken impact analysis and root-cause investigation. Lineage creates value not merely by existing, but by being sufficiently complete.
