Few-Shot Audio Classification
A low-data learning approach aimed at recognizing new audio events or classes from very few examples.
Few-shot audio classification is important when modeling rare acoustic events or expert-level sound categories. In situations where many examples per class are unavailable, general audio representations and adaptable decision mechanisms are used. This is especially valuable for industrial fault sounds, bioacoustic events, and specialized security signals.
