Emotion Cause Analysis
A task focused not only on identifying the emotion in text but also on finding the part that triggered it.
Emotion cause analysis is a more explanatory NLP task than simple emotion classification. The goal is not only to detect anger, satisfaction, or frustration, but also to localize the cause of that feeling in the text. It provides much more actionable insight for customer experience, employee analytics, and feedback systems.
