Data Contract Enforcement
An approach in which schema, quality, and delivery expectations are not only defined, but actively enforced by the system.
Data contract enforcement ensures that rules between data producers and consumers do not remain only in documentation. If expected schema, data types, null tolerances, or delivery windows are violated, the system can respond automatically. This is especially valuable in multi-team data platforms for catching breakage early. A contract delivers real governance value only when it is enforceable.
