Terminology-Constrained Translation

A controlled machine translation approach that preserves required translation equivalents for specific terms.

Terminology-constrained translation is vital especially in enterprise documents, technical manuals, and legal texts. General fluency is not enough; correct term mapping may be mandatory for brand consistency, regulation, and operations. For that reason, translation systems in such settings often need controlled generation rather than free-form generation.
