Template-Based Extraction
A controlled extraction approach focused on obtaining structured information from predefined document or expression patterns.
Template-based extraction is narrower than full free-text understanding, but in production it is often more reliable. It can achieve high accuracy in invoices, contracts, forms, reports, and standardized document flows. In semi-structured settings, rule-based and learned methods are often combined. It is one of the practical backbones of enterprise automation.
