Adjudication Workflow

A quality assurance workflow in which conflicting or ambiguous labels are resolved through higher-level review.

An adjudication workflow ensures that, especially for ambiguous or critical examples, final labeling decisions are made through more experienced review. When annotators disagree, the adjudication layer steps in to assign the final label. This process improves quality while also revealing weaknesses in the labeling guideline itself. In high-stakes applications, adjudication is not a luxury, but a necessary part of quality assurance.
